Your time-zone comparisons stay on your device.
TimeZlider helps you compare cities, find a suitable meeting time, and share it with others. This policy explains how Creo IT Private Limited (“Creo”, “we”, “us”) handles information in the iPhone and iPad app and when you contact us about it.
No TimeZlider account is required. Your cities, settings and saved city sets are stored locally. Calendar access is optional. Information leaves your device when you choose to share a time, use Apple’s purchase or calendar services, or contact support, as described below.
Who is responsible
Creo IT Private Limited, Bengaluru, India, is the developer of TimeZlider and the controller of personal information we process as described in this policy. For privacy questions or requests, email help@creoit.com.
Information on your device
TimeZlider stores the information needed to remember your choices and operate the app on your device, including:
- Your chosen cities, home city, city order and custom labels.
- Saved city sets and business-hour preferences.
- Appearance, layout, time-format and other app settings.
- Calendar-display preferences and identifiers of the calendars you select.
- Local app state, such as onboarding choices and whether the app has requested a rating.
City search uses a city database included in the app, and time comparisons use your device’s time-zone rules. These features work on your device without sending searches or selected cities to Creo. Choosing a city does not grant access to your physical location, and TimeZlider does not request device-location permission.
Settings imported from an earlier TimeZlider version are processed on the device. The app does not provide its own cloud synchronisation of cities or saved sets. Depending on your settings, your device backups may contain local app information.
Calendar access
Showing your existing events
If you enable Show my events, a Pro feature, TimeZlider asks for full calendar access through Apple’s permission system. It reads calendar names, sources, identifiers and colours so you can choose calendars, and event identifiers, titles, start and end times, and all-day status to display relevant events and busy times on the grid.
This information is processed on your device. TimeZlider does not upload your calendars or event contents to Creo or an app backend, and does not use them for advertising. It does not maintain a separate server copy of your calendar.
Adding an event
When you choose Add to Calendar, TimeZlider opens Apple’s event editor with your selected meeting title, time and notes. You can review, change or cancel the event before saving. On supported iOS versions, this editor can add an event without giving TimeZlider full access to your existing events.
An event you save belongs to the calendar you choose. That calendar may synchronise with iCloud, Google, Microsoft or another provider according to your calendar-account settings. That synchronisation is handled by your calendar service.
You can turn off Show my events in TimeZlider or revoke calendar access in your device settings. This stops the app from displaying your existing events. It does not delete events from your calendars.
Sharing, purchases and support
Sharing a meeting time
When you choose Message, Mail, Share or Copy, TimeZlider prepares the selected meeting title, cities and corresponding local dates and times. You decide which app or recipients receive it. Copy places the text on the device clipboard, which may be available through your operating-system clipboard features.
The selected messaging, email or sharing service handles delivery under its own terms and privacy practices. Creo does not receive a copy of your shared meeting information through these features. Review the content and recipients before sending.
Purchases and restoration
TimeZlider Pro is a one-time in-app purchase. The current iPhone and iPad app does not offer auto-renewable subscriptions. Apple handles payment through the App Store.
TimeZlider uses Apple’s StoreKit services to read verified purchase information, identify products you own, unlock Pro, recognise eligible earlier upgrades, and restore purchases. Purchase records may contain product and transaction identifiers, dates, and revocation information. The app checks entitlements on your device; it does not send purchase records to a Creo server.
Apple does not provide us with your payment-card details, Apple Account password or Apple Account email address as part of these in-app purchases. Apple retains and processes its transaction records under the Apple Privacy Policy. You can restore eligible purchases in the app using the Apple Account that made them.
Contacting support
If you email help@creoit.com, we receive your email address, your message, and any name, screenshots, attachments or technical details you include. We use this information to respond, investigate the issue, and manage related follow-up. Our email service providers process the correspondence to deliver this support. Please share only the information needed for your request.
App Store ratings and Apple services
TimeZlider may display Apple’s standard rating prompt. Ratings are submitted to Apple. Apple also handles App Store activity and platform diagnostics according to its privacy policy and your device settings.
Advertising and analytics
TimeZlider does not include advertising, advertising SDKs, third-party app-analytics SDKs or a separate third-party crash-reporting service. It does not track you across other companies’ apps or websites, sell personal information, or share personal information for targeted advertising.
The app does not use an AI-generation service or upload calendar contents, city searches or meeting plans to an app backend. It does not require an account or contact details for its core features.
Providers and international processing
The services involved depend on the actions you take:
- Apple: App Store purchases and restoration, calendar and sharing interfaces, ratings, and other operating-system features.
- Our email service providers: receiving and managing support correspondence you send to Creo.
- Services you choose: the email, messaging, sharing and calendar providers you use to send information or save and synchronise an event.
We require service providers processing personal information on our behalf to protect it at least as well as described in this policy and required by applicable Apple guidelines, and to use it only for authorised purposes. Services you independently choose also have their own privacy policies and controls.
Creo is based in India. Support information and information handled by Apple or your chosen providers may be processed in other countries with different data-protection laws. Where EEA, UK or Swiss transfer restrictions apply to our processing, an applicable transfer mechanism, such as an adequacy decision or approved contractual safeguards, is required. Contact us for information about the safeguards applicable to your information.
We may disclose information we hold when necessary to meet a legal obligation, respond to a valid legal request, or protect rights and safety as permitted by law. Any transfer in connection with a business reorganisation or acquisition remains subject to applicable privacy obligations.
Retention and deletion
Local app information: cities, saved sets and preferences remain on your device until you change or remove them, the app replaces them, or you delete the app. Offloading an app may preserve its data. Device backups are managed separately and can restore previously saved information.
Calendar information: the app reads relevant events to display them and holds display information locally while needed. Your original calendar records remain with your calendar service. Revoke calendar access to stop further reading; delete or edit calendar events through your calendar app or provider. Removing TimeZlider does not delete events you saved to a calendar.
Support correspondence: we retain messages and attachments for as long as needed to resolve the request, address related follow-up or disputes, and meet applicable legal obligations. We consider the nature of the request, whether it is resolved, and any outstanding legal requirement. When no longer needed, information is deleted or irreversibly de-identified. Any legally required continued retention is limited to that purpose.
Purchases and shared information: Apple retains its purchase records under its own rules. Messages or events you share remain with recipients and the services you use; deleting TimeZlider does not remove those copies or reverse an App Store purchase.
To request deletion of personal information held by Creo, contact help@creoit.com. We cannot remotely access or delete app information that exists only on your device.
Legal bases and security
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, the legal basis depends on the purpose:
- Performance of a contract: providing requested app features, recognising purchase entitlements, and handling support necessary to provide the service.
- Consent: optional access or processing where consent is required. Device permissions can be withdrawn in your device settings.
- Legitimate interests: resolving other support enquiries, protecting our services, and handling disputes, subject to your rights and interests.
- Legal obligations: retaining or disclosing information when applicable law requires it.
Information for optional features is voluntary, but the relevant feature may not work without it. We use reasonable measures to protect information we handle. Local data benefits from iOS access controls, and calendar access uses Apple’s permission system. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your choices and rights
- Use TimeZlider without granting calendar access. Time comparisons and sharing remain available.
- Change calendar-display preferences in the app or revoke permission in your device settings.
- Edit or remove saved cities and sets, and manage backups through your device or backup provider.
- Choose what you share, which service you use, and who receives it.
- Contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you.
Depending on applicable law, you may also have rights to obtain a portable copy of certain information, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, appeal a privacy-request decision, and exercise your rights without unlawful discrimination. Withdrawal does not affect processing lawfully carried out before it. You may complain to your local data-protection authority.
Send privacy requests to help@creoit.com. We may request limited information to verify your request and locate relevant correspondence. Do not send passwords or full payment-card details. We respond within the period required by applicable law and explain any relevant exception or extension. Requests about information independently held by Apple or another provider can be made through that provider’s privacy controls.
Children
TimeZlider is a general-audience utility and is not directed at children under 13. Local laws may provide additional protections for older children or require parental consent for certain processing. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information in violation of applicable law. If you believe a child has provided information that should not have been collected, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action, including deletion where required.
Changes to this policy
We will update this policy when our practices change and revise the date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will provide appropriate notice, such as an in-app notice or release notes, and obtain consent before new processing where required. Updating this policy does not itself authorise a new use of information that requires consent.
