The build

30days

From scratch to production in 30 days.

No hand-offs, no committees - one senior Creo pod took Companio from a blank page to a live App Store subscription in a single month. The same discipline we bring to decade-long platforms, compressed.

  1. Day 01Kickoff - product defined, voice-first architecture locked
  2. Day 07Conversational voice pipeline prototyped and tested on real calls
  3. Day 14iOS app and Apple Watch health integration feature-complete
  4. Day 21Caregiver dashboard, daily summaries, and privacy controls in place
  5. Day 30Live on the App Store as a paid subscription product

The challenge

Caring for an aging parent from a distance means losing sight of the small things - whether she took her medication, slept well, ate, or just needed someone to talk to. Group texts and sporadic check-ins never close that gap.

Companio was built to give families daily presence without surveillance: a warm phone call the parent simply answers, and a calm, plain-language summary the family actually reads.

02

What we built

  • Daily AI companion call - a warm five-minute conversation, with no app for the parent to learn
  • Gentle, non-nagging medication check-ins with calm visual confirmations
  • Apple Watch integration folding heart rate, sleep, falls, and activity into one quiet view
  • Plain-language daily snapshot for caregivers, replacing the group-text scramble
  • Mood and wellness notes that add gentle context, not a grade
  • Privacy-first, encrypted, opt-in sharing - the parent controls who sees what
03

How we built it

Companio is a product built around restraint: the hardest design problem was making AI care feel like a familiar voice, not a checklist or a medical device.

Because we own the product, we could hold the line on dignity - no nagging, no alarms, no surveillance framing - and ship a daily ritual that respects both the parent and the family.

04

The outcome

Companio is live as a subscription product - a free seven-day trial, then $9.99 a month or $99 a year.

It turns the anxious nightly question of whether a parent is okay into a calm daily answer.
